  • General Vasily Gurko, 1864-1937, chief of staff of the Imperial Russian Army 1916-17, and General Aleksei Brusilov, 1853-1926, Commander of the South West Front, during the Russian Revolution, photograph published in L'Illustration no.3875, 9th June 1917.
