Bakers making bread, and officials giving finances to scribes who record them, painted relief, on the west wall of the offerings storeroom in the mastaba tomb of Ty, or Ti, an official in the 5th dynasty, Old Kingdom, at Saqqara, Egypt. The burial site at Saqqara, containing pyramids, mastabas and tombs from 1st dynasty to the Greco Roman period, was the royal necropolis for Memphis.
