The Weight of Oneself, sculpture, 2013, by Elmgreen & Dragset, at night, on the Quai Romain Rolland, and the Passerelle du Palais-de-Justice, a footbridge built 1983, across the river Saone, linking the districts of Bellecour and Saint-Jean, in Lyon, Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes, France. The statue represents a giant marble figure carrying or rescuing a second identical figure, representing weight of decisions taken within the courthouse it stands outside. Vieux Lyon or Old Lyon is part of the Lyon UNESCO World Heritage Site. Picture by Manuel Cohen
