Musical scene, fresco, 510-500 BC, in the Tomba Cardarelli, at the Monterozzi Etruscan necropolis near Tarquinia, Vitero, Lazio, Italy. The fresco depicts a harpist and a flautist flanking a painted doorway. Above are lions catching deer. The tomb is named after Vincenzo Cardarelli, a poet from Tarquinia.
