Miracle of Billettes, detail with Jewish man named Jonathan piercing the eucharistic host with hammer and nail and burning it in a fire, bay 1, enamel painted stained glass window, 16th century, in the cloister of the Communion Chapel or Catechism Chapel, at the Eglise Saint-Etienne-du-Mont, in the 5th arrondissement of Paris, France. Only 12 of the 22 original windows survived the French Revolution. The church was built late 15th century on the Sainte-Genevieve hill, in Flamboyant Gothic and Renaissance style.
