Patrick Boulanger, former chairman and director of the Academy des Sciences Lettres et Arts de Marseille, beside the monumental fireplace with statue of the genius of France, 1877, by Germain Gilbert, in the Salon d'Honneur, or Hall of Honour, the first floor reception hall in the Palais de la Bourse, or Stock Exchange Palace, built 1852-60 by Pascal Coste in Second Empire style, on the Canebiere in Marseilles, Bouches-du-Rhone, Provence-Alpes-Cote d'Azur, France. The building houses the Chambre de Commerce et d'Industrie Marseille-Provence and the Musee de la Marine et de l'Economie de Marseille. It is listed as a historic monument. Picture by Manuel Cohen
