Presbytery, Deschambault, Chemin du Roy, Quebec, Canada

Former presbytery of Deschambault, built in 1815, now used as an exhibition hall, in Deschambault, Cap Lauzon, on the Chemin du Roy, Quebec, Canada. The presbytery formed part of a catholic community, including a convent, church, 2 presbyteries, a cemetery and a residents' hall. The Chemin du Roy or King's Highway is a historic road along the Saint Lawrence river built 1731-37, connecting communities between Quebec City and Montreal. Picture by Manuel Cohen
