Skull of l'Homme de Tautavel or Tautavel Man, in the wall of the Caune de l'Arago or La grotte de Tautavel, or Arago Cave, in a limestone cliff in the Gorges du Gouleyrous in the Corbieres Massif, in Pyrenees-Orientales, Catalogne du Nord, France. The remains of the Tautavel Man, a subspecies of Homo Erectus, 450,000 years old, was found in the cave, along with further evidence of stone age activity. The site is listed as a historic monument.
