Reception room with carved stucco decoration and zellige tiles, Kasbah of the Glaoua family, Telouet, High Atlas, Morocco. Zellige tiles are terracotta tiles covered with 5 colours of enamel and set into plaster in decorative patterns. The fortress was begun in the 19th century as the residence Thami el Glaoui, 1879-1956, who was Pasha of Marrakech 1912-56.
