South facade of the 8th Pylon, built by Hatshepsut 1479-58 BC, originally with 6 colossal seated royal statues, including here Thutmose II of the 18th dynasty, New Kingdom, at the Karnak Temple Complex, Karnak, Thebes, Luxor, Egypt. The site was developed c. 2055 BC - 100 AD, from the Middle Kingdom to the Ptolemaic Kingdom and most of the buildings date to the New Kingdom, dedicated to the Theban Triad of Amun, Mut and Khonsu.
