The sedan chair is painted with 18th century scenes, and the portrait behind it is Francoise Adelaide de Noailles, b. 1704, by Frances d´Armagnac. The painting on the right is Portrait of Madame de Maintenon dressed as St Francoise Romaine, painting after Pierre Mignard, copy, 18th century. The castle is listed as a historic monument.
