Reliquaries, Bell tower room, Tresor de la Cathedrale d'Angouleme, Angouleme cathedral, Charente, France

Reliquaries, including (centre) that of Saint Pierre Aumaitre, with a fragment of his femur on a pink cushion, by Cat-Berro, Orleans, with gilded glass balls, surrounded by candles and set within an aluminium valance made with Arsculpt and Technical Industrie, in the Bell tower room themed 'Le Merveilleux' or The Supernatural, first floor, in Le Tresor de la Cathedral d'Angouleme, in Angouleme Cathedral, or the Cathedrale Saint-Pierre d'Angouleme, Angouleme, Charente, France. The 12th century Romanesque cathedral was largely reworked by Paul Abadie in 1852-75. In 2008, Jean-Michel Othoniel was commissioned by DRAC Aquitaine - Limousin - Poitou-Charentes to display the Treasure of the Cathedral in some of its rooms, which opened to the public on 30th September 2016.
