Sculpted frieze from the rear facade of the Temple of Hephaestus, or Hephaisteion, an ancient Greek Doric temple built 449-415 BC, on the northwest side of the Ancient Agora of Athens, on top of the Agoraios Kolonos hill, in Athens, Greece. From the 7th century AD until 1834, it was used as the Greek Orthodox church of Saint George Akamates.
