Hochhaus an der Weberwiese, Berlin, Germany

Entrance to the Hochhaus an der Weberwiese, a residential block designed by Hermann Henselmann and built 1951-52, on Machlewskistrasse overlooking the Weberwiese park, Friedrichshain, Berlin, Germany. The building is in Socialist Realist style and is considered the first socialist high-rise in Berlin, with thousands of ordinary people helping in the construction as part of the National Reconstruction Program.
