Stained glass window painted with porcupine, emblem of Louis XII, 19th century, by Paul-Charles Nicod, in the Salle des Etats Generaux, the counts' justice hall, built 1214 in Gothic style under Thibaut VI count of Blois, with repainted decoration 1861-66 by Felix Duban, at the Chateau Royal de Blois, built 13th - 17th century in Blois in the Loire Valley, Loir-et-Cher, Centre, France. This was the Hall of the Estates General 1576-88 and was restored 2006-7. The chateau has 564 rooms and 75 staircases and is listed as a historic monument and UNESCO World Heritage Site.
