Chapel of the Virgin, built in 1640 and restored 1801-04, inaugurated by Pope Pius VII in 1804, in the Eglise Saint-Eustache or Church of St Eustache, built 1532-1632 at Les Halles, in the 1st arrondissement of Paris, France. This apse chapel contains a sculpture of the Virgin and Child by Jean-Baptiste Pigalle and 3 paintings by Thomas Couture depicting Virgin of the star sailors, Triumphant Virgin adored by angels and Virgin comforting the afflicted.
