Reliquary of St Samson, sculpted and gilded wood, 1746, by Jean Le Francais, in the Chapelle Absidiale, dedicated to St Samson, built early 14th century during the episcopacy of Jean du Bosc, to the South of the Sacristy in the Cathedral Saint-Samson, begun in the 13th century on the site of an older church and completed in the 18th century, in Dol-de-Bretagne, Brittany, France. The cathedral is dedicated to one of the founding saints of Brittany and until 1801 was the seat of the archbishopric of Dol. Picture by Manuel Cohen
