Sacred stone or baetyl at Sabinos Alexandros Station in the Siq, 2nd - 3rd century AD, Petra, Ma'an, Jordan. This votive niche in the Siq wall was carved by Sabinos Alexandros, master of religious ceremonies at Dara'a in Syria, and offers protection to those walking the Siq.
