La France apportant la paix et la prosperite aux colonies, gilded bronze statue, by Leon Ernest Drivier (1878-1951), Fontaine de la Porte Doree, Paris, France. The ten-meter statue represents the warrior Athena with a spear, overlooking a pond at several levels and was placed there for its proximity to the Museum of Colonial opened in 1931 for the International Colonial Exhibition.
