Holy Family with an angel, central panel of a triptych, oil on wood, 1540-50, by workshop of Pieter Coecke van Aelst, 1502-50, in the Musee d'Art et d'Histoire de Narbonne, in the Palais des Archeveques or Archbishops' Palace, built 12th - 14th century, in Narbonne, Aude, Occitania, France. The 2 side panels depicting donors were painted 1603, by Florent Despeches. The painting features symbolism (grapes and cherries for Passion, pear for virtue, book for scripture and orange for fertility), Flight into Egypt, Heavenly Jerusalem, holy spirit and God in the clouds.
