Great Portal, Palma Cathedral, Palma de Mallorca, Majorca

Sculpted sides and arched ceiling of Great Portal and tympanum of Cathedral of Santa Maria of Palma or La Seu, Palma de Mallorca, Majorca, Balearic Islands, Spain. The Roman Catholic cathedral was built on the site of a mosque and is a huge building in Catalan Gothic style. It was begun by King James I of Aragon in 1229 and finished in 1601.
