Portrait of Jean de Noailles, knight, killed at Agincourt in 1415, painting, in the Grande Galerie, at the Chateau de Maintenon, built 13th - 18th century, and from 1674, residence of Madame de Maintenon, 1635-1719, second wife of King Louis XIV, at Maintenon, Eure-et-Loir, France. The Grande Galerie, or Salon des Portraits, is a huge gallery featuring portraits of the Noailles family, who owned the castle from 1698 until the 20th century, in the grands appartements in the round tower.
