Casa Vicens, built 1883-85 as a summer house for the Vicens family, by Antoni Gaudi, 1852-1926, in Catalan Modernist style, in Gracia, Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. The house was Gaudi's first commission, from Manuel Vicens i Montaner, a stock and currency broker. It was extended from 1925 by Joan Baptista Serra de Martinez. The house is now open to the public as a museum and cultural space, and is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Picture by Manuel Cohen
