Temple of Neptune, or Second Temple of Hera, built c. 460-450 BC in Doric style, with 6x14 columns and triple nave, at Paestum, an ancient Greek city founded c. 600 BC in Magna Grecia, in Salerno, Campania, Italy. Paestum was founded by the Greeks as Poiseidonia then seized by the Lucanians and Romans from 273 BC. It is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Picture by Manuel Cohen
