Apparition of the apostle James to the drowning pilgrims, painting on table, Flemish style, 15th century, in the Alcazar de Colon, or Columbus Alcazar, built 1510-12 in Gothic Mudejar style, under Diego Colon, son of Christopher Columbus, who was 4th Governor of the Indies, in the Colonial Zone of Santo Domingo, capital of the Dominican Republic, in the Caribbean.
