Dome, Reichstag, Berlin, Germany

The glass dome of the Reichstag building, seat of the German parliament and meeting place of the Bundestag, originally opened 1894 but refurbished by Norman Foster 1990-99, Berlin, Germany. The dome is open to the public and has panoramic views over the city. Access is by 2 steel spiralling ramps in double-helix form and the debating chamber of the Bundestag can be viewed below the dome.
