Entombment, detail, late 15th century painted sculptural group with life-size figures, restored in the 19th century, placed in the crypt of the Romanesque choir in 1832, in Nevers Cathedral, or Cathedral of Saint Cyricus and Saint Julitta of Nevers, Nevers, Bourgogne-Franche-Comte, France. The apse and transept at the West end of the church are Romanesque, while the nave and Eastern apse are 14th century Gothic. The building is listed as a national monument. Picture by Manuel Cohen
