Hypocaust hot air floor heating system, at the MuseoParc Alesia, on Mont-Auxois near Alise-Sainte-Reine, Burgundy, France. Alesia was originally a Celtic settlement which became a Gallo-Roman town after being conquered by Julius Caesar during the Gallic Wars.
