The Molino de la Albolafia, a noria or Islamic water wheel on the Guadalquivir river, Cordoba, Andalusia, Southern Spain. The water wheel was added to a Roman mill at the time of Abd-al-Rahman II in the 9th century, to raise the river water to the Caliphal Palace, later converted to the Episcopal Palace by the Catholic Kings.
