Arthur Groussier Temple, 1852, damaged by fire and reinaugurated 2011, originally the ballroom of the Grimaldi family, seating 250, with bust of Marianne by Jacques France on the altar, and fresco of allegory of Freemasonry, in the Musee de la Franc-Maconnerie, or Museum of Freemasonry, opened 1889 in the Hotel du Grand Orient de France, the oldest freemasonic organisation in Europe, on the Rue Cadet in the 9th arrondissement of Paris, France. Arthur Groussier, 1863-1957, was a French politician and freemason. The museum was renovated and reopened in 2010 and presents the history of freemasonry in France, with extensive archives.
