Statue of Ty in 1 of the 2 serdabs, seen through a hole in the wall, surrounded by painted reliefs, in the mastaba tomb of Ty, or Ti, an official in the 5th dynasty, Old Kingdom, at Saqqara, Egypt. The burial site at Saqqara, containing pyramids, mastabas and tombs from 1st dynasty to the Greco Roman period, was the royal necropolis for Memphis.
