The image of Hatshepsut has been removed by chiselling in the time of Tuthmosis III. The site was developed c. 2055 BC - 100 AD, from the Middle Kingdom to the Ptolemaic Kingdom and most of the buildings date to the New Kingdom, dedicated to the Theban Triad of Amun, Mut and Khonsu.
