Palazzo della Farnesina, a government building designed 1935 in Fascist style, housing the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the bronze sculpture Sfera con Sfera, or Sphere within a Sphere, by Italian sculptor Arnaldo Pomodoro, born 1926, Rome, Italy. Fascist architecture developed in the late 1920s and 1930s, as a modernist style in times of nationalism and totalitarianism under Benito Mussolini.
