The Ponte Flaminio, built 1938-51, designed by Armando Brasini, 1879-1965, in Fascist style, with columns and monumental sculptures of eagles, Corso di Francia, Rome, Italy. Fascist architecture developed in the late 1920s and 1930s, as a modernist style in times of nationalism and totalitarianism under Benito Mussolini.
